Fantasia

Everything you like to do and more! Swim in the pool, have fun at the art barn, dress up in costumes, hang out with the chickens in the garden, have a cookout and sing songs around the campfire with all your new friends. Use your imagination and design your own set of fairy wings. Then take a whimsical hike to the Fairy Steps for a special picnic. The magic of camp is waiting for you!
R & R

Well, here it is… the program you’ve been asking for! Come to camp and just hang out with your friends. You and your group will be totally in charge of deciding what activities you want to do. There is a lot to explore at camp: nature trails, arts and crafts, yoga, or hangin’ at the pool. Rest and Relaxation is for you!
Animal Lovers

Are you crazy about animals? Then it’s off on a safari adventure for you! Visit Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for an exclusive back stage safari to see some exotic animals. Perhaps you’ll meet a giraffe face to face! Visit SaveABunny, a local rabbit rescue organization, and meet some hip “hop” friends. Round out your safari with a trip to the California Academy of Science. Check out the albino alligator, search for hidden tree frogs in the rainforest, or catch a glimpse of some exotic marine life. It’s an awesome animal adventure waiting for you!

Step into the world of summer fun and help create your own camp adventure. You and your group will choose most of your activities throughout the week. So what will it be? Climb the giant cargo net and soar through the trees on the zip line, splash in the pool, get creative at the art center, try your hand at archery, harvest from the garden or cook tasty treats over a campfire, it’s all here for you! You and your new friends will catch some summer fun and have the time of your life!
Designing Divas
| Grades 4-6 | Session 1 | Fee $515 |
From head to toe, or hat to shoe, learn how to put together the perfect outfit when you explore the worlds of fashion art and costume design. Turn a T-shirt into a dress and make pajama bottoms and an accessory using sewing, dying, and other design methods. Create and screen print your own signature logo or design to add to your clothing line, then show the rest of camp your creations as you walk down the Bothin Runway.
Monkey Business
| Grades 4-6 | Session 2 | Fee $445 |
Have you ever wanted to swing through the trees like a monkey? Here’s your chance to climb, hang and zip through the air on the new Bothin ropes course. Spend time each day challenging yourself on different elements. Will you conquer the triple stack or vertical playpen to reach the sky bench above the trees? Or will you scale the giant cargo net tunnel to get to the zip line? At the end of the day relax around the campfire and make tasty treats like banana boats with your new friends.
The Incredible Race
| Grades 6-9 | Sessions 2, 3A | Fee $515 |
Race through camp and beyond on an amazing adventure, but watch out for detours! Teams of 4 to 6 racers will navigate a course of challenges in and out of camp where skill, knowledge, and teamwork get you ahead. Use different types of transportation and solve clues, riddles, puzzles and complete physical challenges to get to the next stop in the race. Will you be the master archer, the swimming champ, the camp song star? One of your races will take you across the golden gate bridge, then you will come back to camp and explore Bothin’s own golden gate bridge on our new ropes course!
Artisans
| Grades 5-7 | Session 3A | Fee $495 |
Painting, sculpting, sketching, and many other art mediums will fill this imaginative week at camp. Recreate a famous masterpiece, or just use one as inspiration for your own self expression. Take a trip to the de Young Museum in San Francisco to meet the Artist-in-Residence. Learn mosaics and glaze green ware to put into the Bothin Kiln. The Stone House Studio will serve as perfect place to create and show your work.
Fundaze Craze!: Sunflowers

Join our festival of fun and celebrate the summer – Bothin style! In this exciting four-day program, design your own camp experience when you choose the camptivities you want to participate in. Get creative in the art barn, splash in the pool, learn some new dance moves, take a twilight hike, or even make gourmet goodies over a campfire. Try a little bit of everything and experience what camp is all about! Just choose your age group and remember … Anything goes at this Fundaze Festival!
Mischief Managed
| Grades 5-7 | Session 2 | Fee $445 |
Riddles, mysteries and clues oh my! It’s a fun-filled week of solving exciting challenges and obstacles. Stump your teammates when you create your own secret camp map and send them on a giant scavenger hunt with clues and codes they have to solve. Spend extra time on the ropes course figuring out how to reach the top. Even build a life-size board game to play in the field!
Flying High
| Grades 5-7 | Session 3A | Fee $540 |
Fly through the air with the greatest of ease. Experience aerial art and trapeze with two trips to Trapeze Pro in Sonoma. Spend a day on the flying trapeze and learn to make a flying catch. Then it’s back in the air to try the exciting art of aerial ribbons. Back at camp spend extra time up in the trees on the ropes course challenging yourself on the sky surfers, zip line or crossing the hop scotch over the creek.
On Belay

Get “On Belay” when you climb into a week long adventure challenge on the new Bothin ropes course. Spend time everyday setting goals and conquering the elements. Work with your team mates to scale the triple stack, climb the giant cargo net backwards and fly through the trees on the zip line. Be the first to cross through the Adventure Village. With your camp friends, help design a new element for the low challenge course and spend a special day hiking the beautiful Skyline Trail for views above the clouds.
Fundaze Craze!: Tulips

The Next Bothin Food Star!

Here is your chance to show off your cooking skills as we search for our newest food celebrity. Participate in daily culinary challenges to show your talents. Then work with your cooking team to build a signature recipe and share it with the rest of camp at the annual Bothin Cook Off. Will you be the Next Bothin Food Star?
Culinary Creators
| Grades 6-10 | Session 3 | Fee $575 |
Appetizer to dessert, design a five-course meal with flavors that complement each other and explore the world of fine dining. Discover what goes into running a restaurant or reviewing dishes as a Food Critic. Visit a local restaurant to meet a professional chef. Then turn the dining hall into your groups’ own restaurant and help design and cook a meal for the entire camp.
Team Cuisine

Calling all gourmet chefs—the kitchen challenge is on! Work with your Culinary Club team to overcome some interesting cooking obstacles. Be on the look out for a mystery basket of ingredients to cook your meal. Or perhaps you will find an essential ingredient is missing from the kitchen; what will you do? Problem solve like a true chef and make it work!
Let's Get Cooking

Hey Jr. Chefs—what’s cookin? Have fun learning the basics of cooking and baking. Use ingredients from the Bothin Organic Garden to create a delicious meal with your camp friends. Then plan a snack fair and hold a special tasting for the rest of camp.
Main Stage Players

Bring the house down when you step front and center on stage! Spend time each day in your favorite areas—acting, improvisation, stage production and more. Attend a special theatrical performance. Then with your fellow performers, showcase your talents as you produce a one-act play for friends and family.
Curtain Call!

The show must go on! Learn about writing a script, casting and acting. Explore stage makeup, costuming and all that goes into putting on an award-winning performance. At the end of the week you perform in a Dinner Theater for the rest of camp.
Star Girls
| Grades 2-4 | Sessions 1A, 1B | Fee $320 |
Lights, camera, action… Take the stage and shine like the start that you are! Have fun with skits, costumes, make-up and more. Then be part of a variety show where all of camp can see you and your new friends light up the stage.
Off Broadway
| Grades 7-12 | Session 5 | Fee $650 |
It’s Show Time! Participate in daily rehearsals, design sets, create costumes and learn about all aspects of a Broadway show. Attend a theatrical performance and learn more about professional stage work. Then put on a musical production at the end of your session. Parents and friends are welcome to attend and can join you for a special “cast party” following the performance. Just hear that applause!
Girls Just Want To Have Fun!
| Grades 2-12 | Sessions 6, 7 | Fee $140 |
Hey girls! Bring your mom, sister, aunt, or other special female adult and come to Bothin for a weekend of summer fun. Enjoy activities led by camp staff while spending quality time together when Bothin transforms into a special retreat just for you! Choose your favorite camptivities and enjoy all that Bothin has to offer. Swimming, dancing, arts and crafts, campfires, hiking, outdoor cooking, the challenge course, archery, and special themed events are waiting for you. And don’t forget the special Wishing Tree Ceremony at the end of the weekend. It’s a camp tradition you won’t want to miss! Adults must be at least 18 years old. One adult may accompany up to two girls.
