"I appreciated how organized the camp was about info, drop off and pick up and the tips provided in the info packet."
- Bothin parent, 2010

Bothin is 196 acres of forested hills surrounding two secluded valleys in Marin County half an hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The dormitory-style sleeping arrangements with flush toilets and showers are ideal for first time campers. There are also outdoor living units with open-air cabins and platform tents. Each of these units also has running water and a central bathroom with flush toilets. Bothin also has a spacious dining hall with a commercial kitchen, an outdoor swimming pool, and beautiful hiking trails that lead to hundreds of acres of Marin Open Space.
Properties can be reserved online now! For information on renting this facility, or details on rentals and rates, contact cruybal@girlscoutsnorcal.org, 1-800-447-4475 ext. 112 or visit the Girl Scout Nor Cal website.

Bothin features six living units. Four of these are historic dormitories with bunk rooms, running water, showers, flush toilets, a kitchen, and a program room. The bunk rooms contain cots or bunk beds with mattresses. The program rooms are large gathering spaces with tables and chairs. There are also two outdoor units, one with platform tents, and the other with open air cabins. All units have a campfire circle, picnic tables, running water and bathrooms with flush toilets.
At the front of Bothin is our dining hall which seats up to 225 and has a complete commercial kitchen. Also in main camp is our Girl Scout Museum. Maintained and preserved by our own Heritage Committee, the Girl Scout Museum contains vintage uniforms along with many other historical Girl Scout collectibles.
The Art Barn at Bothin offers girls the opportunity to explore a wide variety of arts. It has a kiln and two pottery wheels. Ceramics, painting, sculpture, weaving and traditional arts and crafts are only some of the artistic activities available.

The large “L” shaped Swimming Pool at the center of Bothin is maintained by our staff and open for use from May to September. The pool depth ranges from three to nine feet with steps in the shallow end and ladders in the deep end.
Bothin also offers an extensive meadow for sports and games, an amphitheater style campfire circle and an archery range. Adjacent to Marin Open Space, Bothin contains wooded trails that lead out into this public wilderness area. Girls can explore the natural beauty of the county while hiking to the top of the canyon. From there they can enjoy an amazing view of the San Francisco Bay and beyond on a clear day!
