"Camp helped me grow personally and professionally. I have also met people that I know will be close friends for the rest of my life! It's really rewarding to see a girl develop a skill that you have taught them and you know they will be able to use it in everyday life!"
-International staff member, 2010
International Staff at our Resident Camps are an important part of the camp tradition for both staff and campers. It provides a cultural exchange opportunity for staff and enriches the overall camp experience for everyone.
We select these staff members from licensed, regulated international summer staff agencies that have done interviews, checked references and done thorough background checks. The agency helps us determine who will make suitable staff members. Contacting these agencies is the first step in getting a camp job with us at Girl Scouts Nor Cal.
If you live outside the United States, contact one of the following international placement agencies, for information on working in a camp in this country:
We will be at the Camp America Fair in London on January 28th, 2012. If you are interested in a position we would love to meet you in person! See you there!
