Who are Council Delegates?

Council Delegates attend our Council’s Annual Meeting, vote on any amendments to our Council Bylaws and elect the Board and our National delegates and alternate delegates to the National Council of GSUSA. Each Region may elect up to seven delegates, including at least one girl member. Remaining nominees may be elected to serve as alternate delegates.

2008 Delegate Election Results!

Thank you for your interest in our delegate process. We are pleased to announce the results from our 2008 election. We have elected 84 members (listed below) to serve as Council Delegates for a 2 year term. Council Delegates attend our Council’s Annual Meeting, vote on any amendments to our Council Bylaws and elect the Board and our National delegates and alternate delegates to the National Council of GSUSA.

Thank you to all who participated in our first election as Girl Scouts of Northern California. We look forward to working with this great group of 64 adult members and 20 girl members.
