Winterfest is the last BIG event in the Girl Scout 100th Year! It is a winter holiday event for all ages. Older girl troops run booths at the event to sell hand-made items to earn money for their troop activities as well as a free activity booth to entertain participants. Participating in Winterfest is a great way to earn money, leadership, or service hours and have a lot of fun! Junior troops can run an Activity Booth. Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador troops can run Shopping Mall Booths to earn money for their troops and if doing so must also run an Activity Booth. Each troop that would like to host a booth at Winterfest must register the booth and have their sales and activity plans approved through the online registration system. Badge/Patch: Winterfest 2012 and food drive patches for troops that conducted their own food drive to deliver to Winterfest for Second Harvest Food Bank, will be available for sale at the event. They will be available from 12noon to 3pm. |
