2014 Girl Scout National Council Session & Convention
The 2014 Girl Scout National Council Session and 53rd Convention will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah from October 16-19, 2014. '

National Council Delegates: GSUSA allocated 25 National Council Delegate positions to Girl Scouts of Northern California. The Board Development Committee reviewed all applications, and established a slate of National Council Delegates and alternates that voting members will elect at the April 16, 2014, Annual Meeting.
We will be posting information for National Council Delegates about webinars and training to prepare Delegates for their roles.
Older girl** and adult members may register to attend as official visitors. If you are interested, please send an email to Chris Casiano at firstname.lastname@example.org and Chris will send you the GSNorCal Registration Form for Official Visitors (which includes hotel accommodations information).
*All Official Visitors must be current members registered with GSNorCal and agree to re-register for the 2014-2015 membership year in October 1, 2014 (or are lifetime members of GSUSA).
**Girls must be 14 years of age or older at the time of the convention.
Adult members attending as Official Visitors may apply to serve in volunteer positions for the Council Session as a National Parliamentary Aide or National Council Teller. Older girls attending as Official Visitors may also apply to serve in a volunteer position as a National Council Teller. If you are interested in serving, send an email to Chris Casiano at email@example.com, and Chris will send you the GSUSA application form(s).
Celebration Sessions, Day Passes, Hall of Exhibits, Educational & Training Sessions:
Older girl and adult members may be interested in attending, but not as an Official Visitor. If interested, send an email by June 1 to Chris Casiano at firstname.lastname@example.org and Chris will put you on the list to receive more information as it becomes available from GSUSA. Approximate costs: Celebration Sessions $195-$250; Day Passes ($45-$125); Hall of Exhibits $10-$25; cost for Educational and Training Sessions is unknown at this time.
