Do you want to get involved in an incredible event coming up for the Girl Scouts of Northern California and mingle with powerful people in the Bay Area and the country? We have a not to be missed opportunity for girls in grades 9-12 called the Person of Distinction event. Throughout the council this event has taken place under the names Jewel of a Woman, Power Event (with Madeleine Albright), and Beyond Cookies and Camping. The Person of Distinction event will honor Richard N. Goldman who shared his vision of a “bold audacious project” – Girl Scouts Save the Bay – to build a generation of girls connected to nature and prepared to take action to protect it. We are looking for Girl Scouts in grades 9-12 to act as Table Ambassadors at the event. Please see the flyer and application for more information.
