“Operation Relaxation is an event we run to keep Girl Scout volunteers and staff from burning out. Girl Scout adult volunteers need to take care of themselves so that they may continue to take care of others. I have been an active volunteer in this council since 1964. If it was not for OR I would have burned out a long time ago. One needs to take care of themselves.” -- Jacquie Peterson, Operation Relaxation Committee Chair
