Core Leadership Series
There must be at least one adult in attendance at every troop/group meeting or outing who has completed all four of the Core Leadership courses (GSUSA Orientation, Getting Started, Safety-Wise, and Leadership Essentials). GSUSA Orientation, Getting Started and Safety-Wise must be taken prior to meeting with girls, and the fourth course, Leadership Essentials, must be taken within four months of appointment as a Girl Scout volunteer. We recommend that as many adults as possible take all core leadership series courses, as this will really enhance the effectiveness of the group.
