North Coast Area Girl Scout Highlights

Troop 10363's Community Garden

First year Girl Scout Brownie troop 10363 planted tomatoes, peppers, carrots, beans and flowers in Miwok Valley Elementary School's community garden. The girls had a wonderful time planting the vegetables, making stepping stones and learning about the care of the garden. They will all take turns tending to the garden through the growing season and once the harvest starts they will be donating the fresh veggies to local food kitchens. Great work, girls!!!!
